Questions are welcome here

Before we begin, let’s clear a few things up.

Coaching should never feel mysterious, intimidating, or like you need the perfect words before you walk through the door.

What is trauma-informed, body-based coaching?

Body-based coaching pays attention to more than the story you tell. We may also notice tension, shutdown, activation, breathing, boundaries, comfort, and the physical responses that appear when talking about intimacy and relationships.

Trauma-informed means your history is respected, your choices matter, and you will not be pressured to disclose or do anything that does not feel right for you.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching is educational, supportive, and focused on awareness, communication, practical skills, goals, and present-day change. Therapy may diagnose and treat mental-health conditions and often includes clinical assessment and treatment.

I am a coach and sexologist, not a psychotherapist. Coaching does not replace psychotherapy, medical treatment, crisis intervention, or emergency care.

Who do you work with, and what can we discuss?

I work with adults individually and as couples. Common concerns include emotional disconnection, desire differences, painful or difficult intimacy, betrayal, resentment, communication struggles, body confidence, menopause, grief, trauma patterns, and major relationship transitions.

You can speak openly about sex and intimacy here. Honest conversations are part of the work, and shame does not get to run the session.

Is your practice LGBTQIA+ affirming, kink-aware, and faith-sensitive?

Yes. I welcome adults across identities, orientations, relationship structures, and consensual expressions of sexuality. You will not be treated like a problem because your life or relationship does not fit somebody else’s definition of normal.

Coaching is not religious instruction. Faith can be included when it matters to you, including conversations about religious trauma, purity culture, shame, or faith transitions. Your beliefs will not be imposed upon or dismissed.

What happens during a coaching session?

We begin with what is happening now and what you want support with. Sessions may include conversation, education, communication tools, guided reflection, boundary work, and simple body-awareness practices.

There is no nudity, sexual contact, or requirement to participate in an exercise. You remain in control of your body, your choices, and what you are ready to discuss.

Are virtual sessions available, and is everything confidential?

Virtual coaching is available to adults nationwide, with flexible appointment times. Local availability in Mobile, Alabama may vary.

Your information is treated with care and discretion. Coaching, however, may not carry the same legal privilege as communication with a licensed therapist or attorney. Privacy practices and any limits will be explained before coaching begins.

What happens during the free Curiosity Call?

The Curiosity Call is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation. We will talk briefly about what is bringing you to coaching, what you hope could change, and any questions you have about my approach.

We will decide whether working together feels like the right fit. There is no expectation that you book a paid session during the call. If you are nervous or uncertain, that is completely okay.
